After several weeks of intense development and numerous feedback from our users, please welcome the latest stable version of Lychee Slicer<\/p>\n

It has a new look with a new interface and features to improve the visualization of your 3D printing and create your supports more efficiently and quickly. Of course, we have made many optimizations and improvements to allow you to be more efficient in preparing your 3D prints.<\/p>\n

As you might see, we totally changed our user interface<\/strong>. We are aware that users want to have a simple and smooth experience while preparing a 3D file<\/strong>. This is why we came up with some improvements in our design.<\/p>\n

Preparing a 3D print might be fastidious and long. So we want to make it as clean and straightforward as possible with a new simple and intuitive interface.<\/p>\n

We want to improve our software and to make it easy and effortless for everyday use, no matter your skills or knowledge of 3D printing<\/strong>. We also want to give you a smooth experience while preparing your 3D model.<\/p>\n

With Lychee Slicer, we want the 3D model to be at the center of your process<\/strong>. As creators ourselves, we knew that our interface could be improved and simplified<\/strong> for a smoother user experience.<\/p>\n

We worked internally to improve Lychee Slicer\u2019s interface to make it brand new. We wanted the interface to be more visual and understandable at the first sight<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For exemple, that\u2019s what you can see with the new support tab<\/strong>. We made it as clear as possible with some highlights<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This is the case with the support management, where you can have an overview of the part of the support you are modifying<\/strong>. You can also better understand what you can change in your support and the possibilities of modification<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Already wanted to print a 3D file, and when you have it in your hand, you realize it is not the size you imagined? We have all been there at least once.
This is why we came up with this new feature.<\/p>\n

In the “Export” section of Lychee Slicer, you will have a new button named “True-Size Mode.”<\/p>\n

Once it is enabled, you will have a line that will appear. Take your ruler, and on your computer, measure (very carefully<\/strong><\/span><\/em>)* the line size. Then, enter the value you measured.<\/p>\n

And voil\u00e0! You will see the actual size of your 3D print on your screen. If the 3D print is too big for your screen, you will only see a part of it.<\/p>\n

With the True-Size Mode feature, no more deception of wrong sizing!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

A new mode of displaying the supports has been added. It shows or not the lines that represent the supports in some display modes.
